Welcome Back!

While we are eager to welcome the public back into our buildings, our main concern is the safety of our patrons and staff. Things may look different than what  you remember when you last visited the library. Hopefully the following will answer some of the questions that you may have about about the temporary restrictions that will be in place once we reopen the libraries. These protocols may change as conditions warrant to ensure the safety of our community and staff.

There will be certain guidelines that will need to be followed and some Library services will be temporarily limited...

  • The Library will still have limited hours, but we are incorporating some evenings and Saturdays.

  • Public computer usage is limited to 30 minutes.  One on one tutorials and detailed assistance will not be available at this time.

  • Furniture has been moved/removed to accommodate social distancing.

  • Children's toys, AWE computers and video gaming consoles have been temporarily removed.

  • Please maintain 6 feet of social distancing while inside the library at all times.

  • The meeting rooms are closed until further notice.  Programs will take place virtually for the time being. Study rooms are open for one person at a time.

  • Please drop ALL library materials in the dropbox.  Do not bring them into the library to hand in to staff.  We quarantine all materials for 3 days before putting them back into circulation.  We will backdate all items to the date in which they were returned.  If you receive lost notices, we will work with you to get these resolved.  Our library is now fine free (except hotspots), so please don't worry about late fines!

  • We are not accepting donations of books or other materials at this time.
